The East Texas Builders Association was chartered on May 15, 1954 and is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the Texas Association of Builders.

The Association seeks to interact with all governments and public organizations to insure affordable housing for the citizens of the Greater East Texas area by promoting a healthy economic and building climate.  In servicing membership, the association provides education, information, communication, social opportunities, and encourages ethical and professional business standards.

The Association is effective due to the workers and voluntary leaders who man the active councils and committees. 

All members are invited to volunteer for service in Association activities.  By becoming involved and being active, members obtain a better understanding of how the Association works and how we promote the East Texas community.

East Texas Builders Association is dedicated to providing a suitable environment for the protection and vitality of the building industry, so as to benefit the members and the citizens of the East Texas area by encouraging obtainable, quality housing.
